This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Oversee multiple fitout projects concurrently across the retail, hospitality, and commercial sectors, from initiation to quality handover.
• Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets; ensure timely delivery within financial constraints.
• Collaborate with the Gold Coast workshop team to coordinate in-house joinery manufacturing schedules.
• Organize and manage all on-site trades, including electrical, plumbing, tiling, plastering, painting, concrete cutting, and structural work.
• Perform regular site visits, including night shifts and work within shopping center environments.
• Address variations, design modifications, and unexpected site conditions with a solutions-oriented mindset – we strive to resolve issues rather than avoid them.
• Adhere to Hallmarc’s quality standards, ensuring defect-free handovers every time.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in shopfitting, retail fitout, hospitality fitout, or commercial interiors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects across various locations.
• A trade background or a comprehensive understanding of fitout construction methodologies (joinery, electrical, plumbing, tiling, structural).
• Experience working in shopping center environments, including night shifts, defits, and landlord compliance.
• Established industry contacts and relationships within retail, hospitality, and/or commercial fitout (brands, operators, property groups, architects, designers).
• A Project Manager who maintains client composure while holding trades accountable – clear, straightforward communication without unnecessary detail.
• Proficient in project management software, Microsoft Office, and digital reporting tools.
• A valid White Card and current driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel interstate as project demands require.
• Base salary ranging from $140,000 to $160,000 + superannuation (based on experience and client relationships).
• Provision of phone and laptop.
• Genuine flexibility regarding location – based in Melbourne or Gold Coast, with interstate travel as necessary.
