Project Manager – Restaurant Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee project activities, timelines, deadlines, and deliverables utilizing Microsoft Project and other scheduling tools.

• Supervise daily project operations and internal team coordination.

• Analyze, comprehend, and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.

• Engage with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members via phone, email, Microsoft Teams, and video conferencing.

• Organize subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure projects remain on track.

• Manage calendars, meetings, project updates, and follow-up tasks.

• Monitor project progress, priorities, and unresolved action items.

• Operate within established systems, workflows, and software tools, including Microsoft Teams, email, and construction/estimation software.

• Identify scheduling conflicts, coordination issues, and project risks proactively to prevent timeline disruptions.

• Maintain organized and clear project documentation and communication.

• Acquire and apply knowledge of relevant U.S. local construction codes and specific requirements for restaurant construction.

• Represent the company in a professional manner with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Fulfill the responsibilities of an on-site project manager while working remotely.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–5+ years of experience in construction project management; 4–10+ years preferred.

• Required experience in restaurant, hospitality, commercial, or related construction fields.

• A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is an advantage.

• Fluent in English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong expertise in construction project coordination and scheduling.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project and construction management software.

• Capability to read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and project plans.

• Experience in coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and multiple project stakeholders.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a U.S.-based team.

• Eagerness and capacity to learn U.S. local construction codes and restaurant-specific construction requirements.

• Professional attitude and confidence in representing the company with clients and subcontractors.

• Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, during U.S. Pacific Time business hours.

• Fluent English communication skills.

• Experience in the construction industry.

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.

• Proficient in managing construction projects and coordinating subcontractors/vendors.

• Resume must be formatted in English.

• Comfortable working as an independent contractor, being responsible for personal equipment, taxes, and benefits.
