Project Manager, Residential Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Supervise residential construction projects from inception to completion

• Coordinate and oversee contractors (including roofers, framers, electricians, etc.)

• Ensure projects adhere to timelines, scope, and quality standards

• Assist in the selection, onboarding, and approval of contractors

• Manage building permits and guarantee compliance with local regulations and codes

• Serve as the primary liaison among contractors, stakeholders, and the internal team

• Provide regular updates regarding project progress, risks, and timelines

• Utilize project management tools to monitor progress, timelines, and documentation

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in residential construction project management or home building

• Extensive experience collaborating with contractors (roofers, framers, electricians, etc.)

• Strong grasp of construction processes, timelines, and sequencing

• Experience in managing permits and understanding building codes

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities

• Capability to handle multiple projects at once

• Comfortable working remotely and independently
