This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee the daily execution of construction projects by utilizing project management tools, methodologies, and processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project organization and timelines.
• Deliver status updates for all active projects.
• Develop short- and long-term plans, establish milestone targets, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Organize and facilitate regular meetings aimed at communication, alignment, information exchange, and the implementation of best practices.
• Ensure team members possess the necessary information and resources to effectively carry out their responsibilities.
• Take ownership and accountability for project delivery.
• Conduct risk assessments and address or escalate issues to minimize impacts on schedule and quality.
• Coordinate action items and realistic timelines within the internal team to achieve business objectives.
• Collect and share lessons learned, best practices, and innovations in processes/tools.
• Manage both internal and external resources to guarantee timely completion of projects.
• Propel processes and automation in support of LEAN methodologies.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and generate streamlined reports for leadership.
• Execute additional tasks as needed to support the business and its evolving needs.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or equivalent project management experience.
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects.
• Demonstrated ability to meet project commitment deadlines.
• Knowledge of Outside Plant (OSP) architectures, including underground, direct buried, aerial, and building applications.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe applications.
• Understanding of LEAN principles.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Capacity to influence others to achieve project goals.
• Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment and reasoning.
• Skill in multitasking and collaborating effectively to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Capability to work under critical deadlines.
