
Project Manager, IT – M&A Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and uphold master integration project plans across all functional workstreams, including clinical operations, revenue cycle, IT, HR, compliance, finance, and more.
• Monitor milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues; escalate proactively when timelines or deliverables are jeopardized.
• Organize integration workstream meetings—create agendas, drive decision-making, capture actions, and ensure follow-up.
• Maintain the integration tracker and generate regular status reports for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Lead multiple medium-to-large IT, clinical, or RCM projects—including hospital and billing data integrations with Hospital and RCM clients—from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
• Manage project scope, resources, risks, documentation, and quality assurance in accordance with established PMO methodologies and standards.
• Provide leadership to cross-functional teams and external consultants to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Coordinate logistics for due diligence processes, encompassing workstream scheduling, document management, and data room coordination.
• Assist in developing integration hypotheses and preliminary Day 1 / Day 100 planning during the deal phase.
• Capture diligence findings and convert them into integration workstream inputs.
• Act as a central point of coordination among functional leads and IT/RCM client stakeholders, ensuring workstreams remain aligned and informed.
• Prepare integration status updates, leadership presentations, and board-level summaries as required; provide regular project status updates to leadership.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with both acquiring and target organization teams; exercise discretion on when to escalate versus resolve issues.
• Promote continuous improvement of integration processes, templates, and playbooks.
• Contribute to post-integration retrospectives and documentation of lessons learned.
• Assist in pipeline management for future transactions as the deal portfolio expands.
• 5+ years of project management experience, including a minimum of 2 years supporting M&A, integration, or complex cross-functional initiatives.
• 3+ years of experience in information systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and projects concurrently with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (project tracking software, status reporting, RAID logs) and established PMO standards.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; capable of synthesizing complexity for executive audiences.
• High comfort with ambiguity—able to structure and advance work even when direction is not fully defined.
• Experience in the healthcare industry (provider, payer, health services, or health tech).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
