This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Plan, implement, and manage mid-sized to large-scale industrial water and wastewater design projects.
• Oversee facility planning, design, construction engineering, and associated project tasks.
• Lead the project planning, scheduling, delivery, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
• Formulate and execute project plans that encompass quality, timelines, milestones, resources, and budget management.
• Track project progress, recognize risks and delays, and execute corrective measures.
• Define the project scope, objectives, resources, timelines, budgets, and success criteria.
• Establish communication strategies for team meetings, technical/design decisions, and client engagements.
• Create scopes of work, assumptions, limitations, work breakdown structures, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee quality, change, risk, health and safety, and management of external resources/vendors.
• Evaluate profitability through earned value analysis, revenue forecasting, and invoicing/collections.
• Cultivate client relationships and enhance client service, sales, marketing, and proposal efforts.
• Collaborate with design leaders and the chief engineer to refine delivery practices.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support while sharing knowledge with less experienced team members.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience managing mid-sized to large projects with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Proficient in developing and monitoring moderate project schedules.
• Skilled in developing and overseeing moderate project budgets.
• Competent in risk management practices.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
• Knowledgeable in project planning, risk management, change management, and contract management for mid-sized projects.
• Specialized project management experience in delivering client solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, business administration, or equivalent relevant experience is required.
• Strong capability in leading design processes.
• Experience in private-sector water, wastewater, or infrastructure design.
• Professional Engineer certification is preferred.
• Extensive understanding of project management tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with budget, risk, contract, change, quality, and safety management.
• Strong business acumen coupled with exceptional client service skills.
• Proven abilities in team/staff management and client relationship building.
