This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the expansion and advancement of industrial water initiatives within the Private Sector Business Unit.
• Utilize expertise in water and wastewater engineering, client relations, and project management during the Issued for Construction design phase.
• Formulate and execute project delivery strategies and tactics in collaboration with business unit, design services, and design/build leaders.
• Plan, implement, and supervise small to mid-sized projects to fulfill schedule, budget, quality, and health and safety standards.
• Define project scope, objectives, resource distribution, and comprehensive project plans.
• Track progress, manage risks and changes, address challenges, and relay project updates to stakeholders.
• Direct project team communication, motivation, trust, safety, diversity, and development.
• Create and oversee scopes, schedules, budgets, quality management plans, change orders, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage third-party vendors against contracted scope, quality, budget, and timelines.
• Assess profitability through earned value analysis, revenue forecasts, and timely invoicing and collections.
• Cultivate client relationships, evaluate satisfaction, and assist with client service and sales/marketing initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members as needed.
• Travel across the United States as necessary.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience successfully managing progressively complex projects.
• Experience overseeing projects through the Issued for Construction design phase.
• Proficient in developing and tracking project schedules.
• Skilled in creating and monitoring project budgets.
• Familiarity with risk management principles.
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in project planning, risk management, change management, and contract management for small to mid-sized projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, or business administration, or equivalent relevant experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent skills in budget, quality, and change management.
• Understanding of quality and change management tools, techniques, and processes.
• Knowledge of contract management and client services.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of financial performance and revenue generation.
• Proficient in communication, client service, and engagement.
• Competency in team/staff management.
• Preferred experience in delivering private-sector water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• MS in engineering is preferred.
• PE registration is preferred.
• Preferred experience with the construction and/or operational phases of water treatment projects.
• Knowledge in process engineering for water and wastewater treatment.
• Experience in design delivery.
• Ability to comprehend and apply technologies commonly utilized in industrial water applications.
• Nationwide experience and network, with a willingness to travel throughout the US.
