This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the project in alignment with Primoris Policies and Procedures.
• Manage client and project stakeholders, fostering effective and trusted business relationships.
• Handle all facets of contract negotiation, change order identification, submittal and approval, administration, and establish systems for executing the contract, including subcontractor management.
• Implement effective change control and risk management strategies.
• Ensure appropriate EH&S and Quality programs are in place for the project.
• Prepare comprehensive estimates and proposals.
• Conduct effective project meetings, including project kickoff, client alignment, status updates, and progress reviews.
• Provide valuable performance-related feedback and input to relevant line management and project team members.
• Generate project reporting and status updates for the project team, management, and clients.
• Deliver accurate project financial reports to project accounting, ensuring adequate documentation for management, internal and external accounting, and/or SOX requirements.
• Establish effective financial controls to guarantee project profitability and anticipated cash flow positions.
• Issue accurate invoices to ensure timely processing and payment.
• At least 5 years of experience in the utility sector.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in EPC projects.
• Experience collaborating directly with material manufacturers in the development of Transmission Lines or HV Electric Substation projects.
• In-depth knowledge of project management principles.
• Proficient in personal computer usage and software applications, particularly MS Office, including MS Project and/or Primavera scheduling software.
• Strong written communication skills; capable of creating both basic and complex technical documents, formal letters, and invoices.
• Excellent oral communication skills; able to present to large and diverse audiences.
• High energy level with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a proactive approach.
• Proven track record in developing and maintaining internal and external relationships while effectively navigating organizational challenges.
• Strong commitment to achieving objectives and plans.
• Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation and decision-making.
• Familiarity with project accounting practices and financial systems.
• General understanding of EPC, Fixed Price, Time & Materials, Cost Plus, and Unit contract pricing mechanisms.
• Knowledge of the techniques necessary to lead and influence others in a matrix organization.
• Ability to interact with diverse individuals across various socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
• Willingness to travel 25-40% based on project requirements.
