This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Create project plans that detail components, communications, milestones, priorities, resources, and needs.
• Organize, lead, and engage in meetings with stakeholder groups to determine needs and foster consensus and collaboration.
• Collaborate in assessing business requirements to guide project proposals and strategies.
• Monitor and consistently update stakeholders on project status.
• Deliver formal and informal presentations and reports regarding project progress.
• Identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure adherence to relevant standards and regulations.
• Utilize change management techniques to promote project acceptance.
• Monitor program and project expenses and variances.
• Develop and propose operational processes and system enhancements.
• Maintain necessary records and documentation.
• Facilitate the assessment of progress and obstacles.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.
• A minimum of 5 years leading information systems projects.
• Preferred certifications in Scrum, Agile, and/or Project Management International (PMI) Project Management.
• 3 or more years of experience in health plan operations.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the healthcare or managed care sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles, methods, and techniques.
• Proficiency in effective organizational change management.
• Advanced understanding of various health plan functions and their system implications.
• In-depth knowledge of multiple project management frameworks, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Capability to integrate process improvement and redesign principles such as Lean, PDSA, and Six Sigma.
