This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee large-scale, cross-functional Health IT and EHR deployment initiatives from inception to completion.
• Create thorough end-to-end project plans and execution frameworks for programs with uncertain scope and changing ownership structures.
• Align cross-functional leadership teams on priorities, objectives, timelines, and execution strategies.
• Develop and maintain intricate integrated project schedules using MS Project.
• Establish scalable and repeatable governance models, execution processes, reporting structures, and program management standards.
• Perform detailed risk assessments and proactively address delivery risks and bottlenecks.
• Propel execution in low-process-maturity client environments while influencing decision-making among stakeholders and vendors.
• Enhance communication and coordination among internal teams, client leadership, implementation partners, and third-party vendors.
• Convert broad program requirements and operational challenges into actionable workstreams and measurable execution plans.
• Analyze data, identify root causes, and connect cross-functional interdependencies to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Anticipate challenges and resolve issues before they affect program delivery.
• Provide clear executive-level communications with actionable recommendations and impact-focused outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Management, Project Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of program or project management experience in Health IT, healthcare technology, or EHR deployment settings.
• Proven experience in leading enterprise-scale, complex, cross-functional implementations.
• Proficiency in developing and managing extensive integrated project schedules using MS Project.
• Experience in highly matrixed, client-facing, and multi-vendor delivery environments.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous program structures and create clarity through structured execution planning.
• Capability to influence leadership and foster alignment across organizations with varying levels of project management maturity.
• Strong skills in risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills at both executive and operational levels.
• Ownership mentality with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize, execute, and achieve results independently with minimal oversight.
• Eligibility to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience with enterprise EHR platforms like Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Meditech, or similar is preferred.
• Experience in establishing PMO governance structures or transformation offices is preferred.
• A consulting background in supporting healthcare system transformations is preferred.
