This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Plan, implement, and complete strategic projects of moderate complexity across various functional areas.
• Create and oversee project plans that encompass scope, timeline, budget, resources, and risk management.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, including those with new frameworks or greater complexity and uncertainty.
• Ensure accountability, track milestones, and deliver quality outcomes across project teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between project teams, business units, and executive stakeholders.
• Organize project meetings, provide status updates, and facilitate decision-making sessions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and address any conflicts or issues that arise.
• Identify project risks, devise mitigation strategies, and lead the resolution of issues.
• Contribute to the PMO's processes, tools, and templates.
• Offer guidance and informal mentorship to Project Manager I team members.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including charters, requirements, plans, and status updates.
• Monitor and report on KPIs, project health metrics, and results to leadership and stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Management, Management Information Systems, or a related field is required; equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• A PMP or a similar level certification is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of project management experience with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity.
• Experience in professional services and/or healthcare is preferred.
• A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of PMI project management principles, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and stakeholder management.
• Capability to lead moderately complex, cross-functional projects amidst ambiguity.
• Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
• Experience in selecting and customizing project management approaches.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, ClickUp, or similar project management tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects and prioritize competing demands.
• Experience working in matrixed or cross-functional environments.
• High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent judgment and interpersonal abilities.
