This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee assigned studies to ensure delivery within established timelines and quality standards.
• Implement the prime contract locally by executing global study strategies and proactively managing risks.
• Serve as the company's representative to external stakeholders while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Lead low- to moderate-complexity projects with oversight at global, territorial, and site levels.
• Assist senior Clinical Project Managers (CPMs) with more intricate studies.
• Coordinate or collaborate on study initiation activities, including site qualification visits and submissions to ethics committees and regulatory bodies.
• Identify and manage constraints such as drug supply and vendor relationships to enhance recruitment efforts.
• Gather and analyze study metrics, review project tracking tools, offer status updates, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor recruitment strategies, patient pre-identification processes, and retention efforts against set targets.
• Establish, organize, maintain, and archive relevant local Trial Master File sections and study logs.
• Collaborate with clinical and other departments to achieve project goals.
• Communicate with study sites regarding protocols, patient participation, case report forms, and other study-related issues.
• Facilitate team meetings and manage timelines, resources, interactions, and quality standards.
• Raise budgetary needs to management and finance while assisting with invoicing and resolving queries.
• Act as the overall study lead for local studies from award to close-out, encompassing budget management, contracts, and discussions with clients about patient allocation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant academic or vocational qualification.
• A minimum of 2 years of prior experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role.
• Equivalent combinations of relevant education, training, and/or directly related experience may be acceptable.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities for working in a multicultural matrix environment.
• Capacity to operate effectively in dynamic environments with complex and ambiguous situations.
• Familiarity with clinical research practices, processes, and requirements.
• Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in the English language.
• Ability to assess workload against project budgets and adjust resources accordingly.
• Financial acumen and understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and fiscal management.
• High attention to detail.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, including ICH/GCP and FDA guidelines.
• Competent computer skills, including use of Outlook, Excel, Word, and similar applications.
• Capability to perform necessary physical activities, including frequent sedentary work, mobility, occasional lifting of 15–20 lbs, and consistent attendance.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and drive to site locations as needed.
