This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Develop and uphold project work plans along with task-based resource assessments.
• Track the achievement of milestones and the utilization of budget/resources.
• Regularly review and revise work plans and project resources in response to contingencies, shifting priorities, and budget-to-actual evaluations.
• Generate generalized cost estimates for projects based on work plans, average labor rates, and other direct expenses.
• Oversee expenditures in alignment with project and organizational fiscal year budgets.
• Negotiate resource allocation for executing the work plan with functional managers.
• Ensure the development of all products and tasks related to the project.
• Collaborate with client or funding agency’s scientific or program leadership.
• Deliver project progress and budget reports as necessary or required.
• Provide monthly updates on the financial and operational performance of projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (public health, quantitative social science, or management).
• Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in project management.
• PMP certification or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in both direct and indirect management of large teams working towards intricate goals.
• Exceptional organizational and planning abilities.
• Strong supervisory and mentoring capabilities.
• Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Background in health services or public health research.
