This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversee cost control and financial management processes.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction teams on project estimates and timelines.
• Coordinate various scopes of work.
• Review and compile payment applications, change requests, and other financial documentation related to the project.
• Partner with the Project Manager or Construction Executive.
• Prepare client proposals.
• Manage and administer contracts.
• Award subcontracts.
• Provide guidance to the project team to ensure safe and timely project completion.
• Serve as a liaison for project engineers, providing mentorship and coaching.
• Assign job responsibilities and lead career development initiatives.
• Directly supervise and guide Field Engineers and Project Engineers.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers for the project.
• Monitor the budget and offer recommendations for subcontractors and trade partners.
• Lead the project buyout process with subcontractors and trade partners.
• Facilitate and conduct meetings with subcontractors regarding project coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to:
• Execute on-site Project Manager responsibilities for smaller scope projects.
• Implement a quality plan to ensure compliance with the customer’s specified performance criteria in both design and construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• At least six years of relevant prior experience.
• Proven ability to manage all aspects of complex projects.
• Strong attention to detail, capable of organizing and leading multiple project tasks.
• Basic understanding of construction law and commonly accepted business practices.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management, and relevant web applications.
• Positive and professional demeanor, with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to interpret and convey Mortenson policies effectively.
• Valid driver’s license.
