Project Manager – Ground Up Restaurant/Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Manage construction activities on-site effectively.

• Oversee and coordinate the actions of the project team to ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget.

• Actively communicate any project-related issues with the Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, or Operations Director.

• Review construction documentation such as drawings, schedules, and scopes to ensure they are complete and accurate.

• Analyze bid results, specifications, test and progress reports, and other relevant project information to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project.

• Verify and confirm the permitting requirements associated with the project or program.

• Directly supervise and monitor project operations in the field.

• Effectively manage change orders related to projects.

• Adhere to established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.

• Compile and deliver weekly status reports for projects.

• Proactively identify and address or escalate project issues related to cost, schedule, safety, or quality.

• Represent the company during project meetings.

• Build and sustain relationships with clients, potential clients, subcontractors, and vendors to foster new opportunities.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a 4-year degree in an accredited construction-related program or equivalent; or 7-10+ years of relevant experience in QSR/KITCHEN retail construction project management.

• Experience in ground-up construction is highly preferred and crucial.

• Strong knowledge of multi-site program management.

• Proficient in construction processes, including pre-construction, permitting, scheduling, and project closeout.
