Project Manager – FSP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Act as the main liaison between the sponsor and the organization at the project level.

• Ensure compliance with escalation pathways both internally and externally (Rules of Engagement – communication protocols).

• For projects with defined scopes, guarantee a clear distinction in responsibilities and communication channels for secondary project leads (such as leads in specific regions, vendors, or subsets of delivery).

• Responsible for the overall execution of the cross-functional project (time, cost, quality).

• Demonstrate financial stewardship at the project level by possessing a thorough understanding of the contract, aligning resources with the budget, managing Out of Scope activities, driving the Con Mod process/negotiations, and ensuring team adherence to timelines.

• Establish, communicate, and manage customer expectations to facilitate optimal project delivery.

• Lead Risk Identification and Issue Resolution at the project level (RBQM/RESOLVE).

• Ensure adherence of the project team to organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory, and project-specific requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent relevant academic/vocational qualification.

• Prior experience that equips the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the role (equivalent to 8+ years).

• Technical and systems proficiency, including effective utilization of systems and applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as organization systems (CTMS, Preclarus, Clarity).

• Ability to delegate tasks and effectively prioritize personal and project team workloads in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

• Proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable to shifting priorities and circumstances.

• In-depth knowledge of therapeutic areas and clinical development guidelines and directives.

• Strong grasp of key project management principles (time, quality, cost), along with solid financial acumen.

• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.

• Good judgment and decision-making skills, capable of applying critical and analytical strategic thinking to navigate complex or ambiguous situations.

• Proficient in negotiation, persuasion, and influencing others, with an awareness of cross-cultural dynamics.
