
Ward Coordinator – Urban Malaria Elimination Project

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee the execution of projects within the designated ward.
• Assist in the active identification of cases and monitor fever surveillance.
• Collaborate with both public and private healthcare providers for reporting malaria cases.
• Oversee the application of operational plans within the ward.
• Ensure prompt diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for malaria patients.
• Aid in the implementation of G6PD testing and radical cure initiatives.
• Coordinate GIS mapping and investigations of hotspots.
• Supervise frontline personnel and field teams.
• Organize community engagement activities aimed at migrant populations, construction workers, and at-risk communities.
• Conduct supportive supervision visits.
• Guarantee the timely submission of surveillance and program reports.
• Participate in monthly review meetings of the program.
• Identify challenges in implementation and propose corrective measures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Life Sciences, Nursing, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in the implementation of public health programs.
• Experience in communicable disease programs is advantageous.
• Experience in coordinating field teams and community-based initiatives.
• Familiarity with municipal health systems is preferred.
