This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Ensure that projects are executed safely in compliance with Health & Safety regulations, policies, contractual specifications, obligations, and manuals.
• Serve as the lead for the “Implementation Project,” overseeing everything from design and commercial governance approvals to service transition into ‘In Life’ Operations.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders throughout the organization to independently deliver customer-focused projects or as part of a broader program, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate resources (both internal and external) to implement solutions on schedule, obtaining quotes when necessary and ensuring that statements of work align with design and customer specifications for the project.
• Ensure that hardware (and materials as needed) are procured and available on-site according to the project timeline.
• Guarantee that all components of the solution and services are executed in accordance with contractual specifications.
• Identify, document, and regularly assess risks that could affect project timelines, budgets, or quality, and take responsibility for implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Ensure that all projects undergo a Lessons Learned review and actively participate in forums aimed at promoting standardization of best practices, processes, and procedures.
• Significant experience in project management within IT, Telecoms, or other relevant sectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in project management.
• Experience collaborating with senior management and external clients.
• Familiarity with the telecommunications sector, particularly regarding internet service providers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of Data Network Technology – SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, Internet, Cisco, etc. (preferable).
• Knowledge of managed services (preferable).
• Required knowledge of managed Network Services, including but not limited to SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, security services, LAN/WAN, and cloud (preferable).
• Experience delivering projects in military/defense, public sector, specialist accommodation, or leisure sectors (preferable).
• A project management qualification (preferable).
• Network certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent (preferable).
• IOSH Managing Safely certification (preferable).
• PRINCE2, PMP, SCRUM, or similar project management qualifications (preferable).
