This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Support the Environmental business sector, primarily managing Federal environmental remediation initiatives.
• Knowledgeable in project invoicing and cash flow oversight.
• Directs and manages professional and technical personnel to accomplish intricate environmental projects.
• Leads teams by employing advanced scientific principles, theories, and methodologies.
• Leverages existing technologies and expertise to create technical solutions for complex challenges.
• Interprets and documents data, conducts analyses, and compares findings to pertinent studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
• Analyzes financial statements and oversees budget tracking.
• Executes tasks with minimal guidance, providing periodic updates to the area manager.
• Manages the preparation of work plans and organizes project studies.
• Undertakes complex assignments that often necessitate the development of unique solutions, supported by the project team.
• Supervises junior and mid-level staff throughout all phases of project execution.
• Conducts evaluations and offers feedback to staff for ongoing improvement.
• BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or a related field with over 6 years of pertinent experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
• Professional License (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, or similar).
• More than 10 years of experience in environmental remediation project management (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, PFAS, munitions).
• Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in negotiations with regulators and stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully managing environmental projects for Federal clients (USACE, AFCEC, Navy).
• Comprehensive working knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in team management and the scheduling of staff and resources to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
• Excellent communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience in preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.
• Interest in business development.
• Proven experience leading teams of professionals in conducting Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessments, Treatability Studies, Remedial Design, and Remedial Action Construction in support of Federal environmental projects.
