Project Manager – Early Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the main liaison between the sponsor and the organization at the project level.

• Ensure compliance with escalation pathways both internally and externally.

• Define clear roles and communication channels for secondary project leads as necessary.

• Lead and take responsibility for comprehensive cross-functional project delivery concerning time, cost, and quality.

• Exhibit financial oversight, which includes understanding contracts, aligning resources to the budget, managing out-of-scope activities, negotiating contract modifications, and executing timelines.

• Establish, convey, and oversee customer expectations for optimal project execution.

• Facilitate project-level risk identification and resolve issues through RBQM/RESOLVE.

• Ensure adherence of the project team to organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory standards, and project-specific requirements.

• Inspire, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent and relevant academic/vocational qualification.

• Over 8 years of relevant experience providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the role.

• Proficiency in technical and systems applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity.

• Capability to delegate and prioritize both personal and project-team tasks in a dynamic environment.

• Strong oral and written communication and presentation abilities.

• In-depth knowledge of therapeutic areas and familiarity with clinical development guidelines and directives.

• Solid understanding of project management principles encompassing time, quality, and cost, along with financial literacy.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Ability to lead, inspire, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.

• Sound judgment, decision-making, critical thinking, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

• Competence in managing complex or ambiguous situations.

• Skills in negotiation, persuasion, and influencing others.

• Awareness of cross-cultural dynamics.

• Capability to adhere to organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory standards, and project-specific requirements.

• Ability to work in environments with potential exposure to biological fluids and infectious agents.

• Proficiency in using necessary personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, garments, and gloves.
