This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee medium to large, comprehensive turnkey projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Manage financial reporting, budget control, operational efficiencies, and resolution of project challenges while adhering to deadlines.
• Create proposals and allocate resources, project budgets, forecasts, and schedules until project completion.
• Formulate and oversee detailed traditional project timelines and work plans.
• Assess proposal budgets based on project scope and resource needs.
• Present project strategies, modifications, and completion estimates to stakeholders.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with federal clients.
• Monitor and assess construction activities to ensure adherence to project requirements and compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Directly or indirectly supervise project engineers, assistant project managers, superintendents, safety and quality-control staff, foremen, field teams, subcontractors, and specialty vendors.
• Conduct site visits for inspections, installation, start-up activities, client meetings, and evaluations of project progress and compliance.
• Seven to ten years of project management experience in overseeing full-lifecycle commercial, industrial, federal, or institutional construction projects, with direct management experience in commercial roofing, waterproofing, or building-envelope projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business administration, or a similar field.
• Knowledge and experience in commercial/industrial infrastructure design, engineering, manufacturing, and construction processes.
• In-depth understanding and direct experience with commercial roofing installation methods and industry standards.
• Proven experience managing commercial roof replacement, repair, restoration, or building-envelope projects.
• Familiarity with low-slope and steep-slope roofing systems, insulation, flashings, waterproofing, sheet metal, roof drainage, and manufacturer warranty requirements.
• Experience in reviewing construction drawings, specifications, statements of work, submittals, and contract documents.
• Strong grasp of construction safety and fall-protection standards.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Capability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and site-access requirements.
• Willingness to travel and work at federal, military, correctional, industrial, and other controlled-access facilities.
• Proficient communication skills for engaging with government officials, commercial clients, subcontractors, field staff, and executive leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across various geographic locations.
• PMP, CCM, or CPC certification is preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Project and/or Primavera P6 is advantageous.
• Experience with federal contracting, certified payroll, prevailing-wage regulations, and government construction documentation is beneficial.
• Manufacturer certifications from leading commercial roofing manufacturers are a plus.
• Registered Roof Observer, Registered Roof Consultant, or other roofing industry certifications are advantageous.
• Experience managing projects that require bonding, security clearances, compliance with Buy American provisions, or sourcing of domestic materials is beneficial.
• Familiarity with estimation software and tools is desirable.
• Convenient access to a major airport is preferred.
• Ability to visit active construction sites and access rooftop work areas.
• Capability to climb ladders and stairs and navigate uneven or elevated surfaces.
• Capacity to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and inspect work for extended durations.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to wear necessary personal protective equipment and fall-protection gear.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required.
• Willingness to travel by automobile and commercial aircraft.
