• Formulate and execute project management strategies that optimize the value generated by the Strategic Analytics team.
• Evaluate and improve project management processes, tools, and reports to meet the changing needs of the organization.
• Assume responsibility for the project management tools used across the group to monitor and report on project health, risks, and challenges.
• Establish and sustain the organization's project portfolio processes and tools.
• Conduct iterative portfolio assessments with project managers, department leaders, and stakeholders to comprehend priorities, timelines, and resource requirements for projects.
• Recognize and escalate emerging risks and challenges to leadership.
• Oversee project health throughout the portfolio and proactively suggest modifications to ensure optimal project outcomes.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in project management, applying relevant insights to enhance organizational processes.
• In-depth understanding of project management principles within a software engineering context.
• Proficient in utilizing project management software such as Asana, Clarity, or Planview for tracking, analyzing, and reporting resource utilization.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and assess project-related risks and challenges.
• Possess a strategic mindset, with the capability to think ahead and implement project management strategies that align with organizational objectives.
• High emotional intelligence, adept in relationship management, conflict resolution, change management, and coaching.
• Strong at cross-functional collaboration, able to connect various parts of the organization to achieve collaborative outcomes.
• A team-oriented individual who adapts to change and demonstrates patience, persistence, pragmatism, and diplomacy.
• Excellent communication skills, effective in engaging with senior management.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in managing remote or geographically dispersed teams.
