Project Manager – Contract Position

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete project delivery process utilizing Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and PI Planning.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Engineering teams to ensure clear prioritization of the backlog and alignment on delivery.

• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and budget within agreed-upon parameters.

• Serve as a servant leader by removing obstacles and empowering teams to reach their objectives.

• Maintain consistent communication and reporting with stakeholders, leadership, and clients.

• Monitor and report on project KPIs such as velocity, burn-down charts, value delivered, and predictability.

• Advocate for Agile best practices and continuous improvement within teams and the organization.

• Manage cross-functional teams spread across different geographical locations to ensure effective collaboration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.

• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and fundamentals of project management.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and facilitation.

• Practical experience with Agile project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in managing risks and dependencies.

• Proven track record of balancing delivery excellence with team empowerment.

• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• Preferred certifications include Certified Scrum Master (CSM or PSM), SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.

• Experience in consulting, digital transformation, or enterprise-scale programs is a plus.
