This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead and oversee interdisciplinary global clinical research studies in the capacity of a project manager.
• Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between Syneos Health and the client.
• Guarantee prompt study initiation, execution, and closure.
• Guide project teams while managing quality, timelines, budgets, and financial outcomes.
• Coordinate with study conduct partners and proactively address any issues.
• Maintain comprehensive trial master files and manage study information in databases and systems.
• Ensure readiness for inspections during study execution.
• Formulate and implement project plans effectively.
• Organize, coordinate, and facilitate both internal and external meetings.
• Generate project management reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Develop contingency plans and strategies for risk mitigation.
• Build and maintain client relationships to foster future business opportunities.
• Participate in bid defense meetings when acting as a prospective project manager.
• Potentially supervise project management team members and clinical monitoring staff.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Preferred experience in a clinical research organization (CRO) and relevant therapeutic areas.
• Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice/ICH guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Prior experience in leading global clinical trials.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Significant global experience.
• Capability to manage time effectively and work independently.
• Direct expertise in therapeutic areas.

• Willingness to travel as needed, approximately 25% of the time.
