This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the execution of laboratory (dry and bioinformatics) operations projects, ensuring that milestones are met timely, within defined scope, and in alignment with clinical and organizational objectives.
• Create and maintain project plans, dependency maps, and risk management registers.
• Facilitate coordination among bioinformatics, software engineering, clinical operations, and product teams.
• Convert analytical and computational needs into actionable project deliverables for genomic analysis and reporting.
• Track project performance metrics, risk trends, adherence to timelines, and readiness for validation.
• Communicate project status, risks, and results to program leadership.
• Assist with regulatory documentation, audits, and validation processes.
• Carry out additional responsibilities that support team and organizational goals.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory standards.
• A Bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, life sciences, or a related technical discipline.
• Over 5 years of project management experience with a focus on technical, software, or dry lab-oriented projects.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience supporting bioinformatics, data, or healthcare technology projects.
• Capability to handle multiple technically complex projects concurrently.
• Extensive experience managing cross-functional teams, including bioinformatics scientists, software developers, analysts, and clinical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, analytical workflows, or laboratory informatics systems.
• Strong grasp of technical dependencies, system integrations, and validation processes in regulated settings.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and meeting facilitation abilities.
• Capability to navigate through uncertainty, adapt to evolving technical requirements, and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience with Agile, hybrid, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Proficient in project management and issue-tracking software, with a preference for Jira.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, data accuracy, and process discipline.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
• Preferred: A Master’s degree.
• Preferred: Project management certification such as PMP or an equivalent credential.
• Flexible remote work arrangement.
• Travel requirements: Less than 25%.
