Project Manager, Central Laboratory Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Oversee both new and ongoing CRO laboratory initiatives across various disciplines, focusing on expediting the development and implementation of innovative therapeutics.

• Ensure that project plans are effectively transformed into actionable results, necessitating leadership across internal functions.

• Direct and manage all components of assigned protocols, taking responsibility for overall project outcomes and client satisfaction.

• Offer internal consulting regarding project management challenges.

• Act as the cross-functional leader for designated projects and track operational delivery in relation to agreed timelines and budget.

• Prepare and uphold process documentation while mentoring junior Project Managers.

• Develop and oversee project timelines, budgets, and revenue objectives.

• Maintain comprehensive daily coordination and oversight of scheduled activities.

• Facilitate the creation and execution of new projects.

• Compile and present project information at both internal and external meetings; generate reports and correspondence for clients, collaborators, and vendors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field (such as engineering).

• Proven experience as a Project Manager for Central Laboratories, whether in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech company.

• Proficient computer skills with experience in MS Office/MS 365 applications.

• Outstanding presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking abilities; remarkable emotional intelligence.

• Strong grasp of project management principles and data analysis techniques.

• Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional research and reporting proficiency.

• High level of judgment and discretion.

• Ability to read, write, and fluently communicate in English.

• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally, including overnight stays (~10-25%).

• Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary to meet business needs.
