This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Oversees projects from initiation to completion, ensuring meticulous planning and execution, risk management, effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and control over scope and costs.
• Addresses challenges of moderate complexity, where the analysis of situations and/or data necessitates a review of various factors.
• Effectively manages uncertainty and adopts a systematic and process-oriented approach to facilitate growth and continuous improvement.
• Fosters productive working relationships both internally and externally.
• Develops and oversees project timelines, budgets, revenue objectives, forecasting, and resource plans, while ensuring alignment with contracted project scopes.
• Maintains detailed daily oversight and coordination of scheduled activities, delegating tasks to ensure contracted work is executed.
• Coordinates the creation and execution of new projects.
• Prepares and delivers project updates at both internal and external meetings; generates reports and correspondence for clients, collaborators, and vendors.
• Achieves all revenue goals linked to projects, manages project expenses, and oversees client billing. Reviews contract/project budgets monthly and reports any unexpected variances to the department director.
• Executes all tasks efficiently and promptly, ensuring that client expectations are not only met but exceeded.
• Bachelor's degree in a life science or related discipline (e.g., engineering).
• Proven experience as a Project Manager within Central Laboratories, specifically in a CRO, Pharmaceutical, or Biotech setting.
• Proficient computer skills with experience in MS Office/MS 365 applications.
• Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking abilities; outstanding emotional intelligence.
• Strong grasp of project management principles and data analysis techniques.
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional research and reporting skills.
• Excellent judgment and discretion in decision-making.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and fluently communicating in English.
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally, including overnight trips (~10-25%).
