This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Oversees small to medium-sized projects as part of a larger program or as independent initiatives.
• Defines project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business objectives in partnership with senior management and executive stakeholders.
• Establishes project success criteria and communicates them to stakeholders throughout the duration of the project.
• Directs the creation and management of the project work plan, which includes work sequencing, work breakdown structure, work delivery schedule, and resource allocation.
• Identifies and addresses issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Oversees the project team and deliverables, keeping senior leadership informed about project status, recommendations, and necessary adjustments.
• Follows the Product Development Life Cycle and may utilize a version of the Agile methodology for system development.
• Complies with methods, procedures, and quality objectives, including metrics for tracking progress and suggesting process enhancements.
• Monitors project milestones and critical dates to pinpoint potential risks to the project timeline.
• Cultivates, develops, and strengthens business relationships essential for the project's success.
• Communicates risks, needs, and project status updates to stakeholders.
• Acts as a consultant to business partners and clients on effective project management practices and tools.
• Possesses knowledge of change management principles and the ability to plan and implement change management alongside our clients.
• Minimum of 4 years of project management experience or relevant business management experience (preferred).
• Required domain expertise in human capital management.
• Familiarity with consulting methodologies, particularly design thinking methodology, is preferred.
• Strong planning experience and project management certification are advantageous.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse disciplines.
• Ability to manage relationships and provide guidance to clients at the Senior Manager level or below.
• Excellent presentation and written communication abilities.
• Knowledge of organizational change management principles.
• Proven experience in managing projects and understanding the effective application of project management methodologies (preferred).
