This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Oversees small to medium-sized projects that are part of a larger program or operate independently.
• Defines project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals, collaborating with senior management and executive stakeholders.
• Establishes criteria for project success and communicates these to stakeholders throughout the project's duration.
• Directs the creation and management of the project work plan, encompassing work sequencing, breakdown structure, delivery schedule, and resource distribution.
• Identifies and addresses issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Manages the project team and its deliverables while keeping senior leadership informed about project status, recommendations, and necessary adjustments.
• Follows the Product Development Life Cycle and, in certain instances, a variation of the Agile methodology for systems development.
• Complies with methods, procedures, and quality objectives, including metrics for evaluating progress, and offers suggestions for process enhancements.
• Tracks project milestones and critical dates to detect potential risks to the project timeline.
• Cultivates, develops, and nurtures essential business relationships crucial for the project's success.
• Communicates risks, requirements, and status updates to stakeholders.
• Acts as a consultant to business partners and clients on effective project management techniques and tools.
• Possesses knowledge of change management principles and the ability to plan and implement change management alongside our clients.
• Minimum of 4 years of project management experience or comparable business management experience (preferred).
• Required domain expertise in human capital management.
• Familiarity with consulting methodologies, particularly design thinking, is preferred.
• Strong planning experience along with project management certification is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse disciplines.
• Capability to manage relationships with and provide guidance to clients at the Senior Manager level or below.
• Strong presentation and writing skills.
• Understanding of organizational change management principles.
• Proven history of managing projects and awareness of the effective application of project management methodologies (preferred).
