Project Manager, Automotive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Coordinate project activities

• Take ownership of defining the scope of CG work based on client briefs and breakdowns

• Develop and maintain schedules, deliverable overviews, and task plans for multiple concurrent projects

• Keep project trackers and databases updated to ensure clarity on status, priorities, and dependencies

• Lead daily coordination with CG artists, compositors, and other disciplines

• Manage feedback loops, versions, and approvals for all project deliveries

• Define and maintain asset lists and delivery checklists to ensure nothing is overlooked

• Serve as the main point of contact for key automotive and powersports clients

• Participate in and lead daily meetings, internal reviews, and client calls, documenting decisions and follow-ups

• Provide clear, structured status updates to clients, producers, supervisors, and other stakeholders

• Identify risks early, suggest scenarios and trade-offs, and facilitate alignment on next steps

• Oversee tracking of hours and costs in relation to estimates and bids

• Assist producers in developing and refining estimates and scopes of work

• Manage purchase orders, timesheets, and other project-related administration

• Maintain organization, accessibility, and up-to-date status of key project documents

• Mentor and support junior project managers and coordinators involved in your projects

• Contribute to the enhancement of tools, workflows, and reporting within the automotive sector

• Help establish best practices for planning, communication, and risk management across the team

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in project management, production, or account management within CG, VFX, animation, post-production, or a similar digital production environment.

• Demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from start to finish.

• Strong client management abilities with proven leadership and mentorship skills.

• Capable of handling multiple deadlines while maintaining composure during busy periods.

• Confident in client-facing situations, ranging from day-to-day coordination to challenging discussions.

• Strong connection to the automotive and/or powersports industry.

• Experience working in international teams or with distributed teams and clients.

• Excellent communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English.
