This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.
• Oversee one or more assigned Phase I through IV clinical trials that may be conducted locally, regionally, or globally.
• Manage and coordinate clinical trials from the initiation phase through to the closing activities.
• Direct the technical, financial, and operational elements of projects.
• Collaborate with functional area leads to identify and assess essential project requirements.
• Analyze data on complex issues.
• Perform contingency planning and execute rescue strategies as necessary.
• Ensure the implementation of solutions.
• Guarantee that project deliverables align with customer expectations regarding time, quality, cost, and contractual obligations.
• Lead core project team members and enable their capacity to guide extended or complete project teams.
• Facilitate cross-unit coordination, both internally and externally, including with subcontractors.
• Define and oversee project resource requirements in collaboration with functional heads.
• Develop contingency plans for critical resources.
• Ensure successful design, execution, monitoring, and revision of project plans.
• Foster effective teamwork and address conflicts as they arise.
• Ensure proper communication regarding project-related matters with Project Management Management.
• University or college degree (preferably in life sciences) or certification in a related allied health profession from a recognized institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five (5) years of clinical pharmaceutical industry experience, showcasing skills and competence in clinical project management tasks.
• Alternatively, over five (5) years of supervisory experience in a healthcare environment and four (4) years of clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO industries.
• Proven capability and demonstrated expertise in clinical development.
• Comprehensive understanding of project management processes.
• In-depth knowledge of ICH Guidelines and GCP, including international regulatory requirements for clinical development programs.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
• A valid current passport is required.
• Ability to drive and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in the local office language and English, both written and verbal.
• Extensive knowledge of the drug development process and client requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and effectively utilize resources.
• Proven ability to inspire effective teamwork and motivate staff within a matrix organization.
• Demonstrated capability to lead by example and encourage team members to pursue solutions.
• Exceptional communication, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and self-motivation skills.
• Experience in managing projects within a multi-office environment.
