Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of comprehensive project planning, including scope, milestones, timelines, and deliverables.

• Establish and uphold project governance rhythms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are achieved on schedule and meet agreed-upon quality standards.

• Monitor and manage dependencies across internal teams, vendors, and external partners.

• Oversee scope modifications through a structured change control process, ensuring consensus on impacts to timelines, costs, and delivery capabilities.

• Facilitate delivery execution rhythms, including working sessions, weekly check-ins, and steering/leadership updates as necessary.

• Maintain high-quality documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting notes, stakeholder updates, and handover packages.

• Ensure that deliverables satisfy defined acceptance criteria and are operationally prepared for go-live.

• Generate succinct project dashboards and executive summaries that highlight delivery confidence, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.

• Utilize project management tools such as Smartsheet and/or Odoo Projects for planning, tracking, and reporting.

• Exhibit working knowledge of **Jira** to collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams, including reading boards, interpreting epics/stories, and tracking progress and dependencies.

• Assist in intake reviews and ensure that projects adhere to PMO governance standards prior to major commitments or releases.

• Promote continuous improvement by identifying recurring delivery friction points and suggesting practical process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 4–7+ years of experience in project management within a technology, SaaS, platform, or implementation context.

• Demonstrated success in delivering cross-functional projects involving engineering and product teams.

• Practical experience using **Smartsheet and/or Odoo Projects** for project planning, tracking, and reporting.

• Proficient knowledge of **Jira** (required) for interfacing with engineering teams and interpreting delivery artifacts.

• PMP Certification is mandatory; additional relevant certifications are advantageous.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.

• **Nice to Have**

• Experience in ticketing, events, travel, hospitality, or high-volume consumer platforms.

• Experience in delivering integrations (APIs, partners, third-party vendors).

• Exposure to multi-market launches, localization, or working within international delivery teams.

• Proficiency in European languages is a plus; English is required.
