This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee projects related to the deployment of industrial equipment, electrical systems, and automation technologies.
• Ensure seamless integration with both shop floor operations and corporate systems (Level 3 – e.g., MES/ERP).
• Maintain compliance with project scope, timelines, budget, quality standards, and technical specifications.
• Include all phases of commissioning and start-up.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics).
• A postgraduate degree or MBA in Project Management is preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in industrial automation projects, including PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks.
• Experience integrating with Level 2 systems (e.g., SCADA/supervisory systems, historians, MES).
• Practical experience in commissioning, start-up, and plant ramp-up activities.
• Familiarity with a manufacturing environment or shop floor operations.
• Experience collaborating with industrial equipment suppliers.
• Understanding of automation architecture and OT/IT integration.
• Familiarity with desirable technologies: PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric), supervisory/SCADA systems, MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk), industrial protocols (Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, OPC), Industry 4.0 and IIoT concepts, and foundational knowledge of industrial cybersecurity.
• Proficient in schedule planning and control using tools like MS Project or similar.
• Experience in scope management and change control processes.
• Ability to manage technical and operational risks.
• Competence in financial management, including CAPEX, cost control, and margin analysis.
• Experience in contract and vendor management.
• Leadership skills to guide multidisciplinary teams (engineering, software, electrical, mechanical).
• Ability to lead technical and executive meetings.
• Management experience in the commissioning and technical acceptance phase (SAT/FAT).
• Familiarity with FEL methodology.
• Knowledge of PRINCE2 methodology is preferred.
• Proficient in English (Advanced/Fluent).
• Willingness to travel as needed.
