Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of application and system projects from initiation to delivery utilizing SAFe DevSecOps frameworks.

• Direct Agile Scrum teams, ensuring coherence across products, deliverables, and project timelines.

• Collaborate with technical leads to enhance CI/CD pipelines and modernize infrastructure.

• Create and manage project schedules employing Agile project management methodologies and tools.

• Provide consistent updates on project milestones, risks, blockers, and escalation requirements.

• Present project plans, roadmaps, and progress reports to VA leadership and key stakeholders.

• Coordinate among teams and stakeholders to handle dependencies, risks, and conflicting priorities.

• Assume additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support team objectives and ensure project success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in managing IT projects, including risk identification and mitigation.

• Extensive experience leading complex projects within Agile environments (SAFe preferred).

• Demonstrated ability to convey project status, risks, and outcomes to executive stakeholders.

• Experience in managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.

• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Additional qualifications such as PMP, SAFe, or equivalent project management certification preferred.

• Experience in supporting federal government or VA projects is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps environments and CI/CD processes.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
