Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, execution, coordination, quality assurance, and delivery of a national geospatial data production initiative aimed at developing port and waterway geospatial datasets.

• Manage the entire project lifecycle, including the creation of schedules, task sequencing, staffing coordination, progress tracking, risk management, and oversight of deliveries.

• Facilitate the review of source data, develop inventory crosswalks, approve pilot datasets, oversee national production, ensure quality assurance, validation, and manage the final preparation for publication.

• Act as the main management liaison with government stakeholders, the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), technical reviewers, and internal production teams.

• Ensure prompt decision-making, resolution of issues, and alignment with the approved methodologies and project scope.

• Convert technical requirements into actionable work plans while maintaining accountability across production teams.

• Guide multidisciplinary teams through ambiguities in source data, government adjudications, and incremental delivery cycles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in managing geospatial data production projects of similar complexity.

• Proven experience in schedule management, quality control, risk management, stakeholder coordination, technical deliverable reviews, and production documentation.

• Preferred experience in supporting government, maritime, infrastructure, emergency management, transportation, environmental, or enterprise geospatial programs.

• Technically knowledgeable in geospatial production workflows.

• Capability to lead multidisciplinary teams through complex ambiguities in source data, government adjudications, and incremental delivery cycles.

• Ability to translate technical requirements into implementable work plans.

• Skill in maintaining accountability across production teams and effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

• Successful results from pre-employment screenings, including federal background checks, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks, and drug screenings.

• Compliance with the company’s drug and alcohol policy.

• Authorized to work in the United States or possess authorization by the successful candidate's start date.
