This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Draft risk management documentation.
• Oversee the operations of designated risk management projects, epidemiologic studies, and/or registries.
• Act as the scientific leader for risk management initiatives.
• Engage in projects related to epidemiology, registries, and risk management.
• Assist in the creation, design, and writing of REMS, KAB protocols, surveys, reports, abstracts, and other associated documents.
• Collaborate with physicians, epidemiologists, clients, and internal UBC teams.
• Participate in internal and client project teams and meetings.
• Develop protocols for observational programs.
• Coordinate project tasks, activities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Offer insights to Contracts Management regarding scope-of-work and budget updates.
• Relay project deliverables and milestones to the Finance team for invoicing purposes.
• Create project timelines, organize meetings, and document meeting minutes.
• Assist in proposal development, including service descriptions and budgeting.
• Attend client meetings, bid defense sessions, and industry conferences; present at industry events when appropriate.
• A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, public health, or a related field.
• Experience in writing protocols, study design, and operations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with clinical trials, drug development, and medical and scientific terminology is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and thrive in a small team setting.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Professional, organized, detail-oriented, self-driven, and dedicated to quality.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in word processing and handling tables and figures.
• Willingness to work beyond regular business hours and on weekends as needed to meet critical deadlines.
