This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily execution of several complex infrastructure projects featuring multiple concurrent workstreams and on-site activities.
• Supervise physical infrastructure implementations, which include network upgrades, server installations, routers, switches, low-voltage cabling, hardware setups, and site readiness.
• Create comprehensive Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), outlining dependencies, milestones, and critical paths while considering logistics, materials, site access, and field execution.
• Coordinate technicians, field resources, vendors, installation teams, schedules, and materials across various customer locations.
• Manage technology deployments across multiple sites, ensuring consistent execution and quality across all locations.
• Track project scope, schedules, resource allocation, risks, constraints, financials, and deliverables.
• Identify and address risks associated with site access, physical dependencies, materials, resource availability, scheduling, and client requirements.
• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders, especially in highly regulated and security-sensitive settings.
• Develop and uphold resource and capacity planning across multiple concurrent engagements.
• Oversee project financials, including revenue, profitability, margins, billing rates, utilization, and budget performance.
• Provide clear status updates and escalation communications to clients, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of projects while adhering to established project governance and quality assurance standards.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager directing infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ownership of externally-facing projects within a Professional Services or Managed Services setting.
• Practical project management experience with physical infrastructure implementations such as network refreshes, server setups, routing/switching infrastructure, low-voltage cabling, or hardware migrations.
• Experience in coordinating field execution, which includes technicians, vendors, materials, schedules, site access, and installation tasks.
• History of managing multisite deployments such as Wireless/Wi-Fi, POS, branch, or enterprise site rollouts.
• Project management experience across one or more infrastructure domains: Networking, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud, Security, or Unified Communications.
• Skilled in creating detailed WBS, dependencies, critical paths, resource plans, and project schedules.
• Strong risk management capabilities, including the identification, mitigation, escalation, and communication of delivery risks.
• Experience in managing project budgets and financial outcomes.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capability to independently oversee multiple projects and diligently track execution against timelines.
• Strong skills in documentation, organization, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
• Proficiency in project management and reporting tools.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens or possess valid U.S. work authorization.
• Optional: experience with highly regulated organizations, Federal Government infrastructure projects, active Top Secret security clearance, PMP and/or CAPM certification, Clarity or similar platforms, and large-scale infrastructure modernization initiatives.
