Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Carry out onboardings efficiently and professionally to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and utilization.

• Organize and facilitate onboardings, coordinating processes with both internal teams and large customer teams that may be located in various locations.

• Advise clients on product features, functionality, and best practices for implementation.

• Analyze complex business requirements and guide customers on transitioning from manual processes to electronic or automated systems.

• Engage in tenant configuration and setup for clients by utilizing advanced product knowledge and industry expertise.

• Apply project management skills to oversee all facets of project planning, governance, and delivery for multi-phase, multi-product implementations, including detailed deployment timelines, status updates, project success criteria, and issue identification and resolution.

• Ensure the appropriate resources are allocated both internally and externally to meet or exceed project and customer expectations.

• Anticipate project-related issues as they arise and ensure swift resolution.

• Regularly review overall project status with clients, typically through conference calls, web presentations, or onsite meetings as necessary.

• Act as the primary contact for the client during implementations regarding all project-related work.

• Communicate project status and issues internally across various organizational levels.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager team leader to enhance our processes continually.

• Identify frequent customer inquiries, workflows, and areas of friction.

• Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance documentation, training, and onboarding processes.

• Transform repeatable tasks into structured guides, templates, and workflows.

• Test and continuously refine our team delivery methods.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience.

• Over 2 years of experience as a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager or Project Manager in a food or beverage manufacturing facility.

• Direct experience on the plant floor is essential.

• Experience with deploying SaaS software for manufacturing companies, particularly within the Food & Beverage sector.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio).

• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, while clearly communicating and resolving issues professionally.

• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.

• Dedicated to customer satisfaction and passionate about customer success.

• Capable of working independently and collaboratively across various organizational levels.

• Skilled at multitasking, prioritizing, and managing issues or escalations under pressure while handling multiple projects.

• Highly detail-oriented.

• Willingness to travel to customer sites (25%).
