This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Oversee localization projects from the initial quotation to final delivery, ensuring that deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are adhered to.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, promptly addressing their requests, inquiries, and concerns in a professional manner.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Language Delivery, Technical Services, QA, and Supply Chain, to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Prepare and revise project estimates, timelines, budgets, and workflows according to project specifications.
• Identify and address production risks, implementing mitigation strategies when required.
• Track project progress and provide status updates, reporting, and post-project analysis to enhance future processes.
• Ensure adherence to internal procedures, ISO standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Handle administrative project tasks, including project closure, updates to translation memory, and maintenance of documentation.
• Manage resource coordination, ensuring that vendors and internal teams are equipped with the necessary tools, instructions, and information.
• Assist in account development by pinpointing opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to refine workflows, processes, and project outcomes.
• Provide guidance and task direction to junior team members when necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, English, Foreign Languages, Social/Applied Sciences, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in coordinating or managing projects within the localization or translation sector.
• Proven experience in client service and account management, typically requiring at least 2 years.
• Strong project management abilities, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment.
• Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools (e.g., TRADOS or similar applications).
• Familiarity with publishing or content tools like FrameMaker, InDesign, or comparable platforms.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization capabilities in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to make decisions with minimal oversight.
• High attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Experience in mentoring or guiding junior team members is a plus.
• Proficiency in an additional foreign language is an advantage.
• PMP certification is considered beneficial.
