Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Integrate project management methodologies based on PMI, Red Hat Services' project management approaches, system and software development, along with technical delivery methods such as Agile and Scrum to manage projects effectively.

• Execute project planning, schedule management, progress tracking, and reporting to both customers and internal stakeholders.

• Participate as a Project Manager in pre-sales activities, ensuring successful project delivery by reviewing proposals, estimates, and contracts while providing appropriate inputs as a PM.

• Understand customer needs and objectives, considering the necessary skills and experience levels for the team, to assign suitable consultants or architects to the project.

• Foster team-level collaboration to address project challenges and member issues.

• Manage project-related challenges and collaborate with stakeholders such as customer management and consulting managers to lead towards resolutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in project management within IT-based projects.

• A bachelor's degree in a related field.

• Knowledge of specific project management and technical delivery methodologies commonly used in the IT industry.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Project management certification (preferred but not mandatory).

• Native-level proficiency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English.
