Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete delivery process for both client and internal projects, from initiation to completion.

• Create and sustain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets utilizing MS Project, Smartsheet, and OnePlan.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.

• Implement a hybrid project management methodology that merges waterfall structure with agile adaptability based on the specific project context.

• Act as the main contact for clients, managing their expectations and fostering long-term relationships built on trust.

• Organize regular status meetings, executive briefings, and updates for steering committees.

• Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Generate clear and concise project status reports and communications for executive audiences.

• Lead cross-functional project teams of various sizes in a fully remote setting.

• Collaborate with resource managers to allocate project staff and manage capacity across multiple engagements.

• Mentor junior project managers and assist in the ongoing enhancement of ppmworks delivery standards.

• Ensure the integrity of project data and reporting within OnePlan and other PPM platforms.

• Monitor and manage project financials, including budget forecasting, actuals, and variance reports.

• Conduct lessons learned sessions and share insights with the ppmworks knowledge base.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in project management, particularly in client-facing roles.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects of various scales and complexities across different industries.

• Proficient in using an enterprise PM tool for scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting.

• Hands-on experience with hybrid project delivery methods.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to executive-level audiences.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote and distributed environment.

• Experience in managing project financials, including budgets, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Must possess AI expertise and the capability to lead by leveraging AI technologies.

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with OnePlan or equivalent enterprise PPM platforms is preferred.

• Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, or similar) is preferred.

• Background in professional services, consulting, or technology delivery is preferred.

• Experience in implementing or administering PPM tools for clients is preferred.
