Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee the effective execution of TrakSYS MES projects for various manufacturing clients.

• Manage project governance, engage stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery within the defined scope and quality standards.

• Handle 3 to 4 projects simultaneously.

• Guide projects through the phases of discovery, design, build, testing, cutover, and going live.

• Maintain project plans, RAIDD logs, financial tracking, change requests, and delivery status reports.

• Act as the main contact for delivery governance and status communications.

• Collaborate with MES consultants, Technical Architects, Technical Leads, Engineers, Quality Analysts, and client project teams.

• Conduct project kick-off meetings, set up governance frameworks, stakeholder mappings, and meeting schedules.

• Assist in the creation of Statements of Work (SOW) and estimations.

• Coordinate project execution, sprint planning, backlog management, and sprint reviews.

• Monitor deliverables, dependencies, scope, timelines, and quality metrics.

• Facilitate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) readiness.

• Develop and manage cutover plans, ensure environment readiness, and oversee data migration activities.

• Coordinate activities and communications for the go-live command center.

• Manage stabilization and hypercare phases, and lead project closure and transition to support.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT project management.

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience leading MES or manufacturing system implementations.

• Strong expertise in planning, risk management, governance, change management, and multi-project delivery.

• Knowledge of agile methodologies, including sprints, backlogs, and velocity tracking.

• Understanding of waterfall methodologies, including planning and milestones.

• Ability to collaborate across functions with architects, engineers, MES consultants, and client stakeholders.

• Proficient in managing expectations, facilitating workshops, and ensuring clear communication.

• Experienced in using project management and DevOps tools such as MS Project and Azure DevOps.
