This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.
• Oversee client engagements from initiation to completion, utilizing agile, scrum, or hybrid methodologies as necessary for each project.
• Create comprehensive project plans that detail scope, timelines, resources, and budget estimates in alignment with SOW deliverables.
• Manage project scope in accordance with the SOW: negotiate any discrepancies with clients, guide prioritization decisions, and efficiently handle change orders.
• Drive the project schedule and scope while safeguarding engagement finances and preventing budget overruns.
• Take responsibility for the internal logistics of managing an engagement, including budget tracking, forecasting, time tracking inputs, invoicing coordination, and aligning resources with delivery leadership.
• Ensure PM compliance and reporting duties are met: engagement health updates, weekly status reports, sprint reviews, and risk and issue management.
• Clearly identify and distinguish between risks and issues, knowing when to escalate concerns within the engagement and within NextLink.
• Facilitate the creation of backlogs, ensuring tickets have clear definitions, acceptance criteria, and estimates, while managing delivery flow through Jira reports and team rituals.
• Establish and maintain client trust through dependable delivery and consistent communication; engage in proactive, sometimes challenging, client discussions.
• Achieve client business outcomes beyond just the SOW terms, collaborating with Delivery and Sales to identify expansion opportunities.
• Observe project teams and provide timely feedback focused on delivering client value.
• Contribute to the overall NextLink PM practice through process enhancements, template development, and cross-functional initiatives.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional project management experience, with at least 3 years in a client-facing Project Manager role.
• At least 2 years of experience in a consulting or professional services setting.
• Proven experience managing software or technology projects with delivery teams of 5 or more members.
• CSM or a comparable agile certification is preferred.
• Capability to utilize multiple project management methodologies (agile, scrum, hybrid) to enhance the client experience.
• Experience in budget management and forecasting for client engagements, including invoicing coordination, time tracking, and ensuring revenue accuracy.
• Strong skills in scope management and change-order negotiations.
• Outstanding organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent client engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to cultivate strong client relationships.
• Ability to engage with clients on both business and technical levels.
• Willingness to work overlapping hours with teams based in the US.
