This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Oversee client engagements from initiation to completion, utilizing agile, scrum, or hybrid methodologies as suited to the project's needs.
• Create comprehensive project plans that encompass scope, timelines, resources, and budget forecasts aligned with SOW deliverables.
• Manage scope in accordance with the SOW: negotiate inconsistencies with clients, guide prioritization decisions, and effectively handle change orders.
• Direct the project schedule and scope while safeguarding engagement finances and preventing budget overruns.
• Take charge of the internal logistics related to engagements, including budget tracking, forecasting, time tracking inputs, invoicing coordination, and aligning resources with delivery leadership.
• Ensure compliance with PM standards and reporting duties: provide engagement health updates, weekly status reports, sprint reviews, and manage risks and issues.
• Accurately identify and distinguish risks from issues, knowing when to escalate within the engagement and to NextLink.
• Facilitate the creation of backlogs, ensuring that tickets include clear definitions, acceptance criteria, and estimates, while managing delivery flow through Jira reports and team rituals.
• Foster and maintain client trust through dependable delivery and consistent communication; engage in proactive and sometimes challenging client discussions.
• Achieve client business outcomes beyond the SOW specifications, collaborating with Delivery and Sales to identify opportunities for expansion.
• Observe project teams and provide timely feedback aimed at enhancing client value.
• Contribute to the wider NextLink PM practice through process enhancements, templates, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional project management experience, including at least 3 years in a client-facing Project Manager position.
• At least 2 years of experience in a consulting or professional services setting.
• Experience overseeing software or technology projects with delivery teams of 5 or more members.
• CSM or an equivalent agile certification is preferred.
• Capability to apply various project management methodologies (agile, scrum, hybrid) to enhance the client experience effectively.
• Proven experience in budget management and forecasting for client engagements, including invoicing coordination, time tracking, and ensuring revenue accuracy.
• Strong skills in scope management and negotiating change orders.
• Outstanding organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple simultaneous client engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a talent for building strong client relationships.
• Ability to engage with clients at both business and technical levels.
• Willingness to work overlapping hours with teams based in the US.
