This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Oversee client projects from initiation to completion, utilizing agile, scrum, or hybrid methodologies as needed throughout the engagement.
• Create comprehensive project plans that encompass scope, timelines, resources, and budget estimates that align with SOW deliverables.
• Manage the project scope in accordance with the SOW: negotiate any discrepancies with clients, guide prioritization decisions, and handle change orders effectively.
• Drive the project timeline and scope while safeguarding engagement economics and preventing budget overruns.
• Manage the internal logistics of the engagement, including budget tracking, forecasting, time tracking inputs, invoicing coordination, and resource alignment with delivery leadership.
• Ensure compliance with project management standards and reporting responsibilities: provide updates on engagement health, weekly status reports, sprint reviews, and manage risks and issues.
• Accurately identify and distinguish between risks and issues, knowing when to escalate matters within the engagement and to NextLink.
• Facilitate the creation of backlogs, ensuring that tickets contain clear definitions, acceptance criteria, and estimates, while managing delivery flow through Jira reports and team rituals.
• Build and sustain client trust through dependable delivery and consistent communication; facilitate proactive and sometimes challenging conversations with clients.
• Achieve client business outcomes beyond just fulfilling the SOW, collaborating with Delivery and Sales to identify expansion opportunities.
• Observe project teams and provide timely feedback focused on delivering client value.
• Contribute to the overarching NextLink PM practice through improving processes, creating templates, and participating in cross-functional initiatives.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional project management experience, including at least 3 years in a client-facing Project Manager role.
• At least 2 years of experience in a consulting or professional services setting.
• Proven experience managing software or technology projects with delivery teams comprising 5 or more members.
• CSM or an equivalent agile certification is preferred.
• Capability to employ various project management methodologies (agile, scrum, hybrid) to enhance the client experience.
• Experience in budget management and forecasting for client engagements, including invoicing coordination, time tracking, and maintaining revenue accuracy.
• Strong skills in scope management and change-order negotiations.
• Outstanding organizational abilities to manage multiple concurrent client engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to cultivate strong client relationships.
• Ability to engage with clients at both business and technical levels.
• Willingness to work overlapping hours with teams based in the United States.
