This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete project delivery process, encompassing planning, execution, and attainment of successful project results
• Establish project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics that align with business objectives
• Track project performance, proactively identify and manage risks and issues, and implement corrective measures
• Facilitate governance processes, produce executive reports, and communicate with stakeholders
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, technology, compliance, vendor, and business leaders to collect requirements and ensure alignment
• Coordinate cross-functional implementation and process enhancement initiatives that support operational readiness, deployment, and user adoption
• Oversee project forecasting, compliance obligations, and adherence to organizational standards and governance practices
• Utilize project management best practices and participate in continuous improvement efforts
• Report directly to the Associate Director of Program Management and PMO
• Work from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time
• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training sessions or meetings
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and 5 years of relevant experience
• At least 3 years of project management experience, including planning, coordinating, and executing projects from initiation to completion
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and governance frameworks
• Experience using at least one project management tool such as Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Project, Asana, or Monday.com
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Must be available to work Eastern Standard Time hours, regardless of the time zone of residence
• PMP, CAPM, Agile, or similar project management certification is preferred
• Technical proficiency in MS Planner, MS SharePoint sites, Smartsheet, and Jira Align
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles
• Knowledge of Agile delivery concepts and methodologies
• Familiarity with testing, deployment, and release management practices
• Experience in Medicaid managed care, health plans, healthcare operations, or clinical operations is preferred
• Access to home internet with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed
• Capability to work from a dedicated workspace without interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
