This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a portfolio of internal Information Technology projects aimed at enhancing scalability, automation, operational efficiency, and driving business transformation initiatives.
• Guide internal IT projects throughout their entire lifecycle, which includes discovery, requirements gathering, planning, execution, risk management, communication with stakeholders, and project closeout.
• Collaborate with IT leadership and business stakeholders to facilitate project intake, prioritize tasks, and plan activities.
• Work alongside IT leadership, technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to establish project scope, success criteria, timelines, dependencies, and resource needs.
• Implement and uphold project governance practices, including status cadence, decision tracking, escalation paths, and stakeholder accountability.
• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, RAID logs, decision records, and necessary project documentation using tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Track project progress, manage scope, monitor milestones, and proactively address risks, issues, blockers, and dependencies to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Provide regular updates to executives and stakeholders regarding project health, delivery timelines, risks, decisions, resource constraints, and key performance indicators.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources and workstreams, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and effective communication.
• Assist in the deployment of IT solutions, systems, automation capabilities, process improvements, and operational enhancements in collaboration with technical teams.
• Aid in change management initiatives, including stakeholder readiness, communication strategies, adoption planning, and post-implementation reviews.
• Develop and enhance project management methodologies, governance processes, templates, and standard operating documentation.
• Conduct lessons-learned sessions and identify opportunities to improve delivery practices, streamline processes, increase transparency, and enhance operational maturity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Advanced project management skills with a demonstrated ability to define objectives, manage scope, schedule resources, track timelines, and successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Proven experience managing multiple IT projects, priorities, workstreams, and stakeholders simultaneously while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with project governance, portfolio reporting, project intake, prioritization, and effective communication at the executive level.
• Comprehensive understanding of information technology disciplines, including IT operations, service management, infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, automation, and end-user services.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical projects and coordinating resources across IT, Security, Operations, Finance, HR, vendors, and business teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage technical resources, business stakeholders, and executive leadership effectively.
• Proficient in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience utilizing project metrics, dashboards, or reporting tools to convey project health, progress, risks, and resource constraints.
• Knowledge of change management practices, adoption planning, stakeholder readiness, and post-implementation review processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, and competing priorities.
• Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing information technology projects.
• Preferred professional certifications include PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, ITIL Foundation, or similar project management, agile, or IT service management certifications.
