This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversees a project team and holds direct accountability for the management and execution of project pre-planning and activation.
• Directs project management by engaging in activities within PMI’s “initiating,” “planning,” “executing,” “monitoring and controlling,” and “closing” process groups.
• Leads a project team that includes multiple partners and subcontractors.
• Establishes and sustains effective work processes.
• Delivers all required submittal documents.
• Develops, analyzes, and maintains project baseline schedules and master integrated schedules based on construction documents and input from the project team.
• Tracks schedule deviations and variances, assisting in the creation of corrective actions.
• Coordinates all activities with various stakeholders involved in the project delivery team.
• Maintains an understanding of all facets of project progress.
• Forecasts and prioritizes tasks while identifying necessary resources to complete objectives.
• Manages the project budget, including contingency budgets.
• Ensures billing and invoicing are accurate, synchronized, and coordinated with the client.
• Reviews payment applications to verify claimed progress and ensure contract compliance.
• Assesses project performance regarding cost control and change management.
• Organizes, schedules, facilitates, and attends meetings during project phases, producing minutes with action items.
• Offers guidance to the client concerning the overall schedule and impacts from other contractors.
• Reviews project trend reports and provides recommendations for solutions (courses of action) to the client.
• Aids in the development and review of project estimates.
• Manages subcontracts, including make/buy analysis, drafting statements of work (SOW), time and materials management, and claims management.
• Supports the Project Management Office (PMO) in documenting lessons learned and improving its processes.
• Prepares change order documentation, including draft contract language amendments, pricing, milestones, and facilitates execution documents.
• Evaluates the subcontract procurement plan and tracks performance against target dates.
• Prepares a monthly Executive Status Report (ESR) for management.
• Bachelor's Degree in architecture, engineering, interior design, business management, or a related field.
• Five years of full-time project management experience with an active PMP certification OR ten years of full-time project management experience with a commitment to successfully obtain PMP within 1 year of employment, required.
• Three years of experience on relevant federal healthcare IO projects, preferred.
• Supervisory experience with the capability to manage an office of 10 or more professionals.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a virtual environment.
• Strong administrative skills are essential, including proficiency in standard applications such as BluePoint, SharePoint, Visio, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project.
• Must possess the ability to step in and manage a complex healthcare IoT&A project, or similar project, at any stage in the project lifecycle.
• Ability to engage with clients as well as team leads for the assigned project.
• Must have a working knowledge of earned value management systems.
• Must be flexible to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed when the project requires such availability.
