Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Taking charge of the project from the initial planning phase through to delivery.

• Overseeing the complete life cycle of projects to ensure the highest levels of client satisfaction, quality, and efficiency.

• Collaborating with Sales Managers for both existing and new clients; providing insights on project feasibility and potential workarounds.

• Coordinating and communicating with clients throughout the project duration in a timely manner, keeping them informed about the current status.

• Reviewing and checking the instruction list provided to both internal and external resources.

• Maintaining the highest quality of work by implementing a stringent quality control process for all tasks before they are delivered to the client.

• Ensuring client satisfaction with both quality and timely service.

• Effectively managing project budgets to ensure operating profitability.

• Closely tracking production progress at each stage of the process, prioritizing tasks while managing multiple projects at once.

• Achieving on-time completion of projects, leading to timely billing.

• Addressing and troubleshooting issues or concerns as necessary.

• Managing documentation and reporting, including updates to TMS, client status, internal customer communication, and project status reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in any field.

• Prior experience in Project Management.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant industry, specifically Localization.

• Familiarity with industry and project-specific tools (PMS, CAT, Data tools).

• Proficient knowledge of MS Office.

• Excellent written and spoken skills in both English and Japanese.

• Strong listening and communication skills.

• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
