Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Strategize, oversee, and execute technical projects from initiation through to completion.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (engineering, QA, product, customer success, and operations) to establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

• Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and stakeholders, converting business requirements into actionable technical tasks.

• Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies, and formulate mitigation strategies for each project.

• Conduct regular project status meetings and generate progress reports for leadership (e.g., Steering Committee Meetings).

• Manage and control project scope through established change control processes.

• Responsible for internal and external project reporting (On time / In budget / PnL / NPS).

• Continuously enhance project management processes and tools.

• Lead the contracting process with customers who have selected us as their preferred vendor.

• Engage in negotiations and maintain a hands-on approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Development Projects, with at least 3 years dedicated to managing complex projects. Experience in Banking Projects is highly valued.

• Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time, within scope, and under budget.

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and requests (e.g., managing 2 projects at the same time).

• Familiarity with Waterfall / Agile / Hybrid development methodologies.

• Open and transparent communication style, willing to address and advocate for challenging issues.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Project Management specific certifications (PMP / PRINCE2 or Agile/Scrum) will be regarded as a plus.

• As our software is implemented globally, project teams are expected to travel, with travel time potentially reaching 25% annually, subject to travel restrictions.
